side a sees the bristol based duo appleblim and komonazmuk join forces once again to create a deep, dubby, techno house remix which fires on all cylinders. appleblim is one of the worlds hottest producers right now, many know appleblim from his legendary work with peverelist under the name skull disco, he also mixed the fifth in the series of dubstep allstars on tempa back in 2008 and is also enjoying the success of his own label apple pips which will see the release of an appleblim and komonazmuk collaborative project inspired by the success of the remixes they have done together. on the flip it s up to marlow to deliver finest dubstep melancholy.

after a 2 and a half year wait i finally managed to knock out a new single. its actually only my 3rd solo single ever. im very happy with it but ive got mixed feelings trying to describe it. you spend a year working on a track and a lazy shop worker or journalist will lump you into the >cosmicbalearicspacewhatever< straightjacket in 2 seconds, i can at least resist to do the same… anyway, two are quite psychedelic and one is some kind of cover version of one of my favourite villalobos trax. as you can hear ive had loads of fun fooling around in the studio playing the bass, percussion, drums(badly) and synths(even worse…)…

one of the uk’s most respected labels, huddtraxx never deviate far from their proper house manifesto. release no19 sees kelvin k, ex head honcho at moulton studios and a san fran stalwart. with that background, you know he knows a thing or two about deep house and he serves up 3 joints from the cooler spectrum of house that appeal to the heads whilst still naiiling the floor. a corking ep!!!
